🌿 Brighton Clinic
We have a satellite clinic at The Nutritional Dentist in Hove, near Brighton. From this warm and inviting therapy room, we provide Myofunctional Therapy and Buteyko Breathing re‑education assessments. Assessments are held on a Friday/Saturday, approximately every 8 weeks.
The clinic is easily accessible by public transport and is around a 20‑minute walk from Brighton train station.
☀️ Your Assessment
Your assessment is carried out in two parts to ensure we gather a full picture of your function and goals:
1. Zoom Evaluation
A short online session to gather background information and understand your concerns.
2. In‑Person Assessment
During your visit, we assess:

Breathing function

Tongue mobility
-
TMJ function
-
Swallowing patterns
-
Posture and movement
Measurements and photographs are taken to help track progress. You will then be given an indication of how many sessions may be required, depending on your goals.
Therapy Sessions & Continuity of Care
To ensure you have continuity of care, your therapy sessions are planned in the diary before your assessment takes place. This allows us to secure regular appointments for you and maintain the consistency needed for progress.
In the initial phase of therapy, 6 to 8 sessions are typically required. After this, depending on your functional progress, additional sessions may be recommended — these are usually spaced monthly.
Therapy sessions are held via Zoom, appointments are fortnightly, and exercises need to be done daily. Commitment and consistency are essential for meaningful change.
Please note that if you need to change a session time — especially for after‑school appointments — our flexibility is very limited. These times are in high demand, and alternative slots cannot always be guaranteed.
Children
We see children from around 5 years old, but it’s important to consider whether your child can commit to daily exercises — this is essential for successful outcomes.

Adult Assessment Up to 1 hour 15 minutes (includes Zoom evaluation) — £245
Adult Online Therapy Session Up to 40 minutes — £79 per session
Children’s Assessment Up to 1 hour 15 minutes in person (includes Zoom evaluation) — £245
Child Online Therapy Session Up to 25 minutes — £69 per session
Please note everything you need for therapy is included in the price. The only additional charge is for a Myomunchee, Froggy mouth, or Myospots if required.
